How do I format cells (font, size, alignment etc.)?

Excel offers a variety of formatting options to customize the appearance of your cells, making your spreadsheet more readable, professional, and informative.
Here's how you can format cells for font, size, alignment, and more:

Using the Home Tab:

The "Home" tab in the Excel ribbon is your one-stop shop for most cell formatting options.

1. Select Cells:  Click on the cell(s) you want to format. You can also drag your mouse to select a range of cells.

2. Font Formatting:

- Font Family & Size: In the "Font" group, you'll find a dropdown menu for selecting the font style (e.g., Calibri, Arial) and a box to adjust the font size.
- Bold, Italic, Underline: Formatting buttons like Bold (B), Italic (I), and Underline (U) are readily available to apply those styles to your selected cells.

3. Alignment:
Text Alignment: In the "Alignment" group, you'll find buttons for aligning text within the cell: Left Align, Center Align, Right Align.
- Wrap Text: If your text is overflowing the cell, you can click "Wrap Text" to automatically adjust line breaks within the cell.

4. Number Formatting (Optional):
- Number group: For numerical data, the "Number" group on the Home tab allows you to format how numbers are displayed. Click the dropdown arrow in the "Number" format box to see various options like Currency, Commas, Percentages, etc. You can also choose "More Number Formats" for even more customization.

5. Additional Formatting Options:
- Fill Color: Change the background color of your cells using the "Fill Color" bucket icon in the "Home" tab. Click the arrow for a wide selection of colors.
- Borders: Define borders around your cells using the "Borders" button on the Home tab. Click the down arrow to choose border styles, thickness, and color.

Keyboard Shortcuts (Optional):

Here are some handy keyboard shortcuts for quicker formatting:
