How to filter data by cell font color or formatting?

You can filter data based on cell font color or formatting in Excel using the following steps:

1. Select your data range: Click on any cell within the data set you want to filter.

2. Enable Filter: Go to the "Data" tab on the Excel ribbon. In the "Data Tools" group, click the "Filter" button. This will activate filter arrows on the header row of your data.

3. Filter by Color: Click the filter dropdown arrow for the column containing the font color formatting you want to filter by.

4. Choose Font Color Option: In the filter dropdown menu, hover over "Filter by Color".

5. Select Specific Color: A submenu will appear displaying all the unique font colors present in your data. Click on the desired font color to filter your data and show only rows with cells containing that specific font color.
