How to sort data in a PivotTable?

There are two main ways to sort data in a PivotTable:

1. Sorting Row or Column Labels:

- Click on the small arrow next to the Row Labels or Column Labels on your PivotTable. This will display a dropdown menu for that field.
- Within the dropdown menu, you can choose various sorting options:
- Sort A to Z or Z to A (sorts labels alphabetically).
- Sort by Value (sorts by the values in that field, ascending or descending).
- You can also access "More Sort Options" for additional control, such as sorting by another field or custom sorting.

2. Sorting Values Within a Cell:

- Right-click on a specific value within the body of your PivotTable (not a label).
- A context menu will appear.
- Choose Sort.
- Select your desired sorting method, such as Largest to Smallest or Smallest to Largest.

This will sort the values in that particular section of the PivotTable (e.g., sorting sales figures by product category).

By using these methods, you can effectively organize and analyze your data within a PivotTable.
